This privacy policy explains what information WallRate collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to wallrate.com.
Information we collect
- Usage data. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand which pages are useful. This can include pages viewed, approximate location (city or region level), referring site, device and browser type, and an anonymized identifier.
- Comments and messages. If you leave a comment or email us, we collect the information you provide.
- Cookies. Small files stored by your browser that let us remember preferences and measure traffic.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information such as payment details. Purchases are completed on the retailer’s own website, under that retailer’s privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic in aggregate. Google may set cookies and process data as described in Google’s own privacy documentation. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising
This site does not currently serve third-party display advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any ad code goes live. Third-party display networks, when used, typically set their own cookies.
Affiliate links and third parties
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set a cookie that records that you arrived from this site so that a commission can be credited. That cookie is controlled by the retailer, not by us. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

- To understand which content is working and improve it
- To respond to messages you send us
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s default retention period. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request.
Your choices and rights
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Some parts of the site may not remember your preferences if you do.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent us by emailing us.
- If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
